One day we wondered what would happen if we took this elaborate delicacy and re-imagined it as a crispy filo pie. Now you get to experience the result!
Introducing the Melianthos pita moussakas, a scrumptious pie that will leave you longing for more.

Layers of smoked and air-fried aubergines are mixed with a slow-cooked lamb and beef ragú, in a rich Mornay sauce made with pecorino and smoked Metsovone cheese.
The pie is made the traditional way, with layered handmade filo pastry sheets, all around a delicious filling. The filo is made with a flour blend that contains wholemeal organic flours and is fermented for at least 16 hours with our trusty sourdough starter, which makes it tastier and more digestible.
The pie weighs 1 kilo before baking and it’s 28 cm/11" wide, which makes for 8 generous portions. Available all year-round.
