Perfect for a picnic or a quick meal, the Melianthos kouroú pies are the ultimate finger food.

They are just the right size to finish in a few bites, but rich enough to leave you feeling full - and perhaps a little happy - after just one.

Made with excellent ingredients, the dough brings together white, spelt and rye flours, creamy yoghurt, free-range eggs, fragrant butter, extra virgin olive oil and organic cold-pressed sunflower oil.

The result is a crust that is tender yet crumbly and an absolute joy to bite into. In fact, they taste so good that you can’t have only one!

These prassopitákia are carefully filled and pleated, egg-washed for shininess and sprinkled with black sesame and baked until crispy at the base.

The filling contains leeks and spring onions slowly sautéed in extra virgin olive oil, until tender and sweet. Freshly ground nutmeg is added off-heat, followed by free-range eggs, crumbled feta and a bit of pecorino cheese.
