Kourabiedes, along with melomakarona, are a delicious treat and the quintessential Christmas biscuits in Greece. Nowadays, however, you can find them in sweet shops throughout the year.
Traditionally made with clarified goat’s and sheep’s milk butter, my version of kourabiedes is based on 100% butter ghee, which gives them a lighter taste profile.
All biscuits are handmade and weighed to the decigram, to ensure uniform baking and shape. Available from November to March.
